Forest and Food Fixation

Forest and Food Fixations is a creation of one woman supported by the beautiful community surrounding her. She has been growing this business slowly since 2018, and it all started with her ongoing fascination with the forest and all the wonders within. This business has 3 main sections, Artisan Breads, Foraged Foods, and Handcrafted Jewelry. All of this is inspired by the beauty of nature and the gifts it brings. The Foraged Foods are locally harvested year round depending on season. Amanda has been on a journey of learning to identify and utilize many of the wild foods and herbs this area has to offer, and brings them to the community in ways that are easy to enjoy. One of these ways is through baking. The Artisan Breads and treats she makes are often made using the wild foods she's harvested throughout the year. Berries, mushrooms and herbs make for delicious additions to the specialty breads. For other non wild foods, she finds local farmers and sources for the ingredients needed. The Handcrafted Jewelry is using rocks and feathers and other adornments found while exploring nature. Fastened with a variety of materials to make one of a kind pieces to wear and enjoy.
