Salmon Arm Welcomes Volunteers for the 2024 55+ BC Games!

As you may already know, Salmon Arm is thrilled to host the 55+ BC Games from September 10 – 14, 2024. To ensure its success, a dedicated Board of Directors was formed, with Councillor Debbie Cannon as President and Caitlin Thompson, Project Coordinator at Salmon Arm Economic Development Society, as Vice President, along with 11 Director positions.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are excited to share that Rob Marshall has been appointed as the Director of Volunteer & Participant Services. Rob would like to personally share his enthusiasm for the games and for the planning ahead. He would like this opportunity to share links and the process for anyone who wishes to sign up as a volunteer for the games in Salmon Arm.

If the opportunity to support your community interests you, please register online as a volunteer. Your involvement in this endeavour would be invaluable, and your contributions would make a tremendous impact on the success of the games.

If you prefer to register by paper now, please fill out the form attached and email back to Rob Marshall at registrationdirector2024@55plusgames.ca or bring your form in-person to the Community Futures office at 101 - 160 Harbourfront Drive NE, Salmon Arm.

Looking for more information? Stay tuned! Over the next few weeks, the Board of Directors will be meeting to work on the official hand-over of the games from Abbotsford to Salmon Arm.
